Speed Thrills But Kills

Not all can understand this famous proverb except for those who have either sustain a massive shock of their beloved or those who have lost their loved ones in accidents caused of either mistake of others. Over speeding has always been the main factor behind the accidents. If car is under control in limited speed than likely the chances for accidents reduce to more than 90%

Accidents has mostly affected the life of young passionate drivers who have so much to see in this world but their negligence have cost them immensely. The reason being is their lost of control and over speeding which thrills them at first and than drag them to death.
All over the world the rising ratio in Western countries despite such strict traffic laws, drivers easily manage to escape from traffic violation charges and same is the case in Middle Eastern countries where most of the young deaths are not because of drugs or terrorism but because of traffic accidents.

Used Japanese Cars for Sale

Japan undoubtedly is a first choice of billions when we talk about auto industry. It is a common phenomenon that whenever one talks about buying a car the first name which comes in mind is of Japan. A great benefit which we have today is of “Used Japanese cars for sale”. The used Japanese cars can make one’s dream come true even in today’s era of recession.

Car Tire inflation

Inflation or air pressure in tires is akin to having blood in a living body. It’s a tire’s lifeline. Besides keeping other performance measures in mind, keeping constant pressure and avoiding leakages is also a manufacturer’s focal point. Tires have mostly been filled with plain air. Some people do make use of nitrogen as tire inflator to enhance its performance. Such drivers mostly are from racing arena.
Proponents of nitrogen in tires go for fuel efficiency and light weight. Critics are concerned about increased danger owing to nitrogen’s high inflammation nature. Costs also build up for having pure compressed nitrogen which is also not easily accessible.

Compressed air is mixture of nitrogen, oxygen and other gases. When filled in tire, presence of hydrogen and oxygen can form tiny water droplets and dampen the tire rubber from inside. It can lead to internal corrosion and slight leakages over time. Compressed air is prone to seep through rubber compound. On the other hand nitrogen is seen to have maintained good pressure and stability for longer time. Plus being more light weight, nitrogen particles tend to move upwards which results in total tread in contact with road much less. This feature reduces resistance and ultimately has impact on fuel consumption.

Tread Pattern – Directional

As mentioned in earlier posts, tread is the surface of tire which directly comes in contract with road and is responsible for smooth ride, traction while running and grip when cornering. Mostly, car tires have a symmetrical tread pattern that is the same along the whole breadth of the tire. The tread pattern on an asymmetric car tire varies across the tread with different segments adapted for specific functions.

The tires outer border consists of large stiffer tread blocks which help with cornering. The inner tread blocks are smaller and designed to shift water and improve grip on wet surfaces. The middle of the tread usually has a continuous strip of rubber called rib to help straight line stability. Tire made on this pattern are referred to as rib pattern tires.

Asymmetric tires must be fitted the right way round on the wheel that benefit from the tread block arrangement. The sidewalls are clearly marked. Care has to be taken regarding the tire direction while placing on the rim. If the pattern is running on the opposite direction, the wear will substantially increase and slight effects can be felt in gripping. Directional tires are mostly used in passenger car tires which are made for high speed running.

Importance of Automobile Repair

In today’s world automobile is the most important and popular medium for transportation. Similarly to keep the automobile working in a good condition, it is essential and really important to get the automobile examined by the mechanic regularly. Many people with laziness often avoid this thing and then faces even deeper trouble at crucial time. Time is money and no doubt we should value this statement and plan each thing on right time, in which maintenance of such things are necessary.

This may sound hectic and yes it is but one of the major advantage is that it increases the life of that automobile. It has been found that the major reason for car accidents is the ignorance of the owners with respect to maintenance and checkup of the car. It is similarly important to get the oil changed and fluid checked properly and regularly to avoid any break downs. to avoid coming problems before hand pre-repairing is the best technique.

Rain Groove

Another important engraving on tire tread is rain groove, which are gaps on the surface designed in a manner as to channel out water once it comes into contact with a tire. The rain groove was introduced in the late 20th century, greatly enhancing tread groove patterns they vary region wise such as in tropical of Philippines and South America, special emphasis is put on this particular feature. Heavy rainfall is the main reason for special need for these regions. But generally it’s a part of every tire to channel water from a tire’s footprint.

Some tire has special tread patterns which do not necessitate the presence of grooves since their very design pumps water out while flexing. This creates smoother ride compared to tires which have plethora of groves on their tread. Grooves help a vehicle maintain stability in skidding roads when they are wet and allow better traction. The groove mostly starts from the centre of tire ending all the way till the tire shoulder. They are mostly in curved shape to channel the water better without creating much splash.

How to Maintain Car Tires in Critical situations

Tire damages

Damages can result to the vehicles if their tires are run through ditches and bumpy roads which can have a bed impact not just on the rollers but the tires as well. This normally happens when the tires run through some sharp edges like on the pavement and are cut and spliced in some spaces which can prove to be dangerous while driving and must be dealt with immediately.

Tire alignment

This is a trick that can also come in handy when purchasing a new car. When the steering wheel is having a problem in moving the front tires in either direction it means that there is a possibility that the alignment of the tires is incorrect in which case it can be extremely unsafe to take that vehicle on the road as it can dislodge at any moment’s notice resulting in an accident.

Front tires

As everyone knows, the front tires are the ones that are used more than the back tires due to then being turned and twisted t any given turn which results in them wearing out faster than the back ones and therefore should be taken good care and one needs to be cautious and make sure that they are in good working condition.
